Hot Springs!

YES! We are here! After a few more days of yes/no yes/no, we decided to go! Plus Joe and Alan pretty much insisted... And who can refuse a trip up there! We still had no power in Waits house. We drove our 7 hours up there, with Katje of course (who slept most of the way), and arrived around 8pm. We were welcomed with a warm hug and chilli. Katje is being taken care of at a friends house in Hot Springs Village. We talked for a long time and sipped off of our vodka/OJ drinks. We are in luxury. They have a pool and a beautiful big house full of antiques, 2 sweet dogs and just a walk away from the little center. Danny and Janine are the owners of the B&B where we got married and they will be back sunday from their alaskan cruise. We cant wait to surprise them! Joe and Alan have been the greatest friends. Our house is okay. That was a big relieve. Our neighbours went there a few days ago. They arent staying there but they got to 'look and leave'. Hardly any flooding on the groundfloor and we are on the 1st! The windows are fine and it just smells muggy.
I called my boss yesterday and we will get paid. Another relief. She also will be calling me back today with more information regarding work.
I dont see how we can start wor anytime soon without power and water. We dont want to go back until we have it in our house.
Anyways, we are fine. Only just now got internet. Ike went through Hot Springs too and knocjed over a telephone line down the road. I'll be posting pics later today or tomorrow.
