So Claudia arrived on Sat afternoon 2pm. It was so great to see her again! We drove to La Carafe in Houston for a drink in the sunshine and then on to Galveston. Now we see/hear somebody else's perspective of the aftermath, we think it’s cleaning up pretty fast though. So we organized a little party for her arrival which was a lot of fun. Sunday we were off to Houston, Wait came too. Walked around mainly and got to show her a lot! We had such a good time with her. We even got to take her to Austin for 2 nights! There we met up with one of Thomas co workers who happened to be there too! We also saw Rachael, a friend from Thomas’ college. We saw the capitol, drove to Mount Bonnell, had lunch at Whole Foods and shopped at Waterloo Records. Unfortunately on Saturday we had to drive back to the airport so she could get her flight. We miss her already!! I’ll post the pics!Friday is Halloween! I am sooooo excited. We are hosting a party! Not a huge one but quite a few people are coming. Thomas found a VERY scary costume! Mine’s cool too! I’ll be sure to show some pics on Saturday! Last night me and the neighbor went props shopping at Walgreens and Kroger. I think we have enough stuff now. What’s left is drinks and food! Punch with dry ice! My first Halloween, I cant wait!
Aaaaaand the Elections! 6 more days! Things are getting really excited. Thomas voted a few days ago, I am sure you can guess who for. I think it’s so good that they have early voting; no one has an excuse to miss it!
This week is Red Ribbon. Every day the kids (and staff) get to wear crazy items. Monday was crazy sunglasses, yesterday crazy hat, today jersey (see pic), tomorrow crazy socks (I bought Halloween ones) and fri school spirit shirt (which is actually every fri)
Okay well i think thats about it for now. Oh wait actually not! We bought a badass TV!
Not bad eh? Its an LG 42". We got a great deal for 800$! We are now saving for my Wii!
