I bought a winterhat in TX!

As always our weekend started fri afternoon. Betsy came over at night for a bit. Then we got a late night call from Bill, so we all headed over to Molly's pub a few mins walk from here. It ended up being a late night so we woke up at noon. We looked out the window and we saw our friend Kristen walk to Speculoos, A european breakfast place right across the road from our house, we yelled hi and she invited us! So we had a great breakfast and caught up with her. She is a shark fan and got the news that at a certain bay on the island, sharks come out at night! So soon we will go out and see them. Cant wait. We hung around the house and then Wait came over. I wanted to go to the army store around the corner. Co. Bubbie's. Its a very cool place filled with WW2 artifact and lots more! I bought a swedish army hat and Thomas a T-shirt. After we walked to the harbor and where all the shrimp boats park. We saw also some sharks that these guys were cutting up. Yuk. See pics! We had lunch at Sonny's, a hole-in-the-wall restaurants with great sandwiches and burgers. When we got back home we bought the ingredients for pina colada's and had a few while watching the Sarah Silverman Program (VERY funny). We heard loud talking and singing outside which seemed like a concert. So we walked down a block to the square and we saw there were showing 'Casablanca' on a big screen! Everyone brought drinks and a chair and was sitting on the square. Very cute! Wait left and we were off to bed. This morning we slept in and drove to Old Town Spring just above Houston. This is where the Dutch Shop is! We stocked up on licorice and coffee and were back on our way to Galveston. A great weekend, definately check out the photo's!

It looks like Claudia might visit us at the end of the month! We really hope so. She needs to take care of some stuff at work, but she should be able to get the time off. We are also planning a Halloween party. I hope we will be able to do it as it will be my first real one! We have the perfect house for it with the long high ceiling hallway.
Also Thanksgiving is coming up! We will go spend it in Sugarland with Thomas' family. We will be off the whole week! So... we are planning a new trip! First we will drive up to Dallas, stay with Kelley and Daniel, then we drive through Oklahoma to Kansas to visit Thomas' Friend Justin in Wichita! So exciting! I love our little trips! On our way back we are going to try to stay in Tulsa, OK.

So again lots to look forward to. For now its Sunday and tomorrow i have to work...
